About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer / Tech Lead with 4+ years of software engineering experience, verified certifications, and a proven track record of technical leadership. In this role, you will architect scalable systems, guide engineering teams, mentor developers, and drive technical excellence across client and internal products.
Key Responsibilities
- •Provide architectural leadership and technical direction across full-stack web, mobile, and cloud projects.
- •Lead and mentor engineering teams, establish engineering standards, and conduct in-depth peer code reviews.
- •Design, build, and optimize high-concurrency microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, and database architectures.
- •Collaborate closely with clients, product managers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical roadmaps.
- •Enforce modern CI/CD automation, DevOps practices, automated testing, and security standards.
- •Leverage and champion modern AI development tools and engineering workflows to accelerate shipping velocity without compromising code quality.
- •Resolve complex technical roadblocks, optimize system performance, and ensure reliability and uptime.
Requirements & Qualifications
- •4+ years of verified professional experience in software engineering with hands-on team lead or tech lead experience.
- •Proven track record of architecting scalable systems and leading development teams in client-facing environments.
- •Deep proficiency in modern full-stack or backend/frontend technologies (React, Next.js, Node.js, Python/Django, TypeScript, PostgreSQL).
- •Relevant technical or cloud certifications (e.g., AWS/GCP Cloud Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or equivalent industry certifications).
- •Strong expertise in database design, SQL optimization, caching (Redis), system design, and API architecture.
- •Solid hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows.
- •Strong leadership, team mentorship, problem-solving, and code review capabilities.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication and client management skills in English.
- •Ability to work in a hybrid model with regular collaboration at our Sankhamul, Kathmandu office.
Nice to Have
- •AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional, or CKA certification.
- •English for Developers certification (e.g. freeCodeCamp B1 or A2 English for Developers).
- •Prior experience as a Fractional CTO or Tech Lead for high-growth startups or international clients.
- •Hands-on experience with AI/LLM integration pipelines (LangChain, vector databases, RAG workflows).
