About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer with 1+ years of experience to craft clear, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for Cherdung's website, blogs, case studies, and social channels. The ideal candidate can turn complex software and technology topics into compelling stories for clients and readers, with excellent English writing skills and a strong sense of brand voice.
Key Responsibilities
- •Research, write, and edit high-quality blog posts, articles, case studies, and whitepapers on software, AI, and technology topics.
- •Write persuasive website copy, landing pages, service descriptions, and product messaging.
- •Plan and execute SEO content strategies including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content performance tracking.
- •Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and marketing campaigns.
- •Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to gather insights and accurately present technical work.
- •Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and editorial quality across all published content.
- •Leverage modern AI writing and research tools responsibly to improve speed while ensuring originality and accuracy.
Requirements & Qualifications
- •1+ years of professional experience in content writing, copywriting, or content marketing.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with strong grammar, structure, and storytelling.
- •A portfolio or writing samples showcasing blogs, articles, or marketing copy.
- •Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, keyword research, and content optimization.
- •Ability to research and simplify technical topics for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- •Familiarity with CMS platforms, Google Docs, and AI-assisted writing tools.
- •Ability to work in a hybrid setup with regular collaboration at our Sankhamul, Kathmandu office.
Nice to Have
- •Experience writing for tech companies, SaaS products, or software development agencies.
- •Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Analytics.
- •Basic graphic design or video scripting skills (Canva, Figma).
- •Ability to write in Nepali in addition to English.
